North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences at the forefront of supporting the funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Ummah
The President of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences announced the implementation of a comprehensive health support plan for the funeral procession of the "Martyred Leader of the Ummah." He stated that the university—acting in a support capacity for Mashhad University of Medical Sciences—has undertaken the mission of providing health and medical services both within and outside the province; to ensure the well-being of pilgrims and participants, it is deploying a field hospital-style facility along the procession route, utilizing specialized personnel, and dispatching a fleet comprising ambulances, ambulance buses, and motorcycle ambulances.
In an interview with Webda, Dr. Seyyed Ahmad Hashemi outlined the university's measures to support the funeral procession of the martyred leader, stating that North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences has been designated to support Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and is carrying out specific missions for this magnificent ceremony, both within and outside the province.
Referring to missions outside the province, he added that the university team would operate in support of the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences; to this end, a field medical unit—functioning similarly to a hospital—will be stationed along the event route.
According to the President of the North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, 100 staff members and specialized personnel from the university will also be present at the site to provide necessary services to pilgrims and participants.
Dr. Hashemi continued by noting that, to bolster operational support and expedite relief efforts, the university’s emergency fleet—comprising bus-ambulances, standard ambulances, and motorcycle ambulances—will be deployed for this mission, standing ready to provide urgent care and transport any potential casualties based on field requirements.
