• Why it’s done: To remove stones blocking the urinary tract.

General Patient Care Instructions (Pre/Post-op)

• Pre-op:
• Please fast (no food/drink) as instructed by your doctor (NPO). Remove jewelry and nail polish.
• Post-op:
• Follow pain management strictly.
• Monitor the surgical site for excessive redness, swelling, or discharge.
• Attend all follow-up appointments.
• Contact the IPD unit immediately if you experience high fever or severe pain.
