- Why it’s done: To treat “bow-legged” deformity and delay arthritis.

General Patient Care Instructions (Pre/Post-op)
- Pre-op:
- Please fast (no food/drink) as instructed by your doctor (NPO). Remove jewelry and nail polish.
- Post-op:
- Follow pain management strictly.
- Monitor the surgical site for excessive redness, swelling, or discharge.
- Attend all follow-up appointments.
- Contact the IPD unit immediately if you experience high fever or severe pain.
